Building a Permaculture Paradise

Hi bloggers! Today I’m going to talk about a video related to Permaculture
First you need to condition the soil to allow the germination of the cover crop seeds. These plants grow fast, fix nitrogen and prepare the soil to cultivate.

The next stage is when these plants have grown a little bit, now we have to break the roots, this way the nodules that are rich in Nitrogen release this mineral to the soil and make it richer.

Afterwards you can plant whatever you want because you have an adequate soil!

After 1 or 2 years you can see an stable system and after 4 or 5 years you achieve to have a forest that maintains itself and that would be very difficult to remove. So now you have a lots of plants that gives you food and are easy to maintain. How amazing is that!

I think these technique has to be more studied because is very beneficious, I imagine you could do this in spaces where the grass is dry and where people want to learn how to take care of the soil and plants in order to benefit the spaces they would use and themselves.

Post 3: COVID

Hello bloggers!! Today, I am going to talk about how my experience with the quarantine was. I don’t know your case, but for me it was something I never thought I would go through in my life… to be lockdown in my apartment, only with my mom and my cat, was a really tough experience and also not seeing anybody for so much time… the months went by and I felt that the time was frozen. I tried my best to make the best out of the situations we were involved, I did a lot of exercise, dancing and cooking to keep my mind busy although I knew that outside there were lots of people suffering either of the virus, or because of the lack of jobs which meant lack of food for the more vulnerable families.

For me the experience of being lockdown was tough, but when I think of the people who doesn’t even have their own house and couldn’t go to work… I believe I am lucky, and also because the members of my family who got the virus could get better.
